PackStar is awarded by the Organizing Committee of Recommending Packaging Design for WorldStar which is jointly set up by China Packaging Federation and China National Export Commodities Packaging Research Institute. It is given to packaging design works of excellence from all the country after judging.

1. Entry Requirements:
1) Packaging design works used in the market (converted into commodities);
2) New designs in recent two years;
3) Meet the following basic conditions: protection and preservation of contents; ease of handling, filling, closing, opening, reclosing; adequacy of information; graphic design; economy of material, cost reduction; ingenuity of construction; sales appeal; environment protection, recyclability; etc.

2. Awards:
Golden Award of PackStar One
Silver Award of PackStar Three
Excellent Award of PackStar Several

Entry works gaining Golden Award of PackStar will be recommended by the Organizing Committee of Recommending Packaging Design for WorldStar to participate in WordStar competition, free of charge.
Entry works gaining Silver Award of PackStar will be recommended by the Organizing Committee of Recommending Packaging Design for WorldStar to participate in WordStar competition, only with 70% of the registration fee.

All entry works gaining PackStar Awards will be granted with a certification and a trophy.

3. Time Schedule
PackStar Design Award, every two years.
Entries collection: From November to June next year
Judging: June to July
Awards Ceremony: scheduled in August
